HEADSTONE SONGS and poems
In May, 2024, as I was writing a blog post about the lyrics of the Mountain Dew song that I spotted on a headstone in Ballinure Cemetery in Co. Limerick, I got to thinking about the very many songs that I have seen on memorial headstones in graveyards, cemeteries and elsewhere.
As if I hadn’t enough things to do already, I decided to create this page listing the songs and poems.
In 1983, I did say that my choice was from Pink Floyd – strange that I can remember that but not any possible alternatives since.
